32nd Canadian National Japanese Language Speech Contest (2021/3/28)
As part of our COVID-19 response and commitment to improving service, starting Tuesday, September 22, 2020, we will expand Consular Services to include processing applications for Police Certificates, and Overseas Voter Identifications (including amendments thereof), etc. during afternoon hours as well.
Additionally, for those coming to pick up documents such as Proof of Residence for Pension, a previously applied for Passport/Certificate, Family Registry Notification, etc., we ask that you visit us during afternoon hours when there are relatively shorter waiting times.
Consular Service Hours
Morning office hours: 9:00 am - 12 Noon - Regular consular service for: Passports, Certificates, Family Registries/Citizenship, Visa, etc. (Visa Applications: 9:30 am - 11:30 am only)
Afternoon office hours: 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm - Issuance of Passports, Certificates, Family Registry Documents (Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate), and Visas, etc. in addition to the processing of the documents listed below:
*Documents that can be processed during afternoon hours:
1. Application for Proof of Residence for Pension (issued on same day)
2. Application for Police Certificate
3. Related processing for Overseas Voter Identifications (including applications and amendments thereof)
*For new applications or family registry notifications, etc. other than the ones listed above, please visit us during morning hours.
