Short-Terms stays are visits up to 90 days for purposes such as:
- Sightseeing
- Recreation, sports, participation in amateur athletic events
- Visiting friends or relatives
- Business (market research, business liaison, consultation, contract signing, after-sales service for imported machinery; inspecting or visiting plants, trade fairs, etc.)
- Academic surveys or research presentations
- Other similar activities
These activities require a Temporary Visitor's Visa.
Profit- making and remunerative activities are excluded. Temporary Visitor's Visa Exemptions may apply to nationals of some countries.
