Apply for the 2025 JET Programme at the JET Programme Canada website. Deadline: November 14, 2024.
The application form is available in September/October each year with a deadline in November. Most participants depart in summer of the following year. A very limited number of participants may depart as early as April, based on the availability of positions.

In general, applicants must:
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree before departing for Japan
- Be a Canadian Citizen, if applying through the Embassy of Japan in Canada
*(For non-Canadian citizens, visit the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR) JET Programme website) - (For Coordinators for International Relations) Be proficient in Japanese language ability (JLPT N1 or N2, four years university level Japanese courses with practical experience, or equivalent recommended)
