Consul General Takahashi and returning JET participants
On November 21, the Consul General held a reception in honour of JET Programme participants who had returned to British Columbia and Yukon in 2024 and 2025 after finishing their tenure in Japan.
Consul General Takahashi expressed his hope that the returning JET Programme participants will continue to play an active role in enhancing Japan–Canada relations by leveraging their cross-cultural experiences.
During the reception, Karmila Harder (President, JET Alumni Association of BC and Yukon) and Karah Goshinmon Foster (Executive Director, Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre) welcomed back the participants in attendance.
