Call for designs! 130th Anniversary Logo

A picture is displayed.

In 2019, the Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver will celebrate the 130th anniversary of its establishment in 1889. Our office’s presence parallels the long history of Japanese immigration to BC. The Consulate will mark this milestone with a commemorative logo. The general public are invited to submit designs for a 130th anniversary logo to be used to promote this special year. The logo will be used on our promotional materials, including our website, social media, and at events held throughout the year.
  1. Elementary and high schools located in BC or Yukon may submit one logo design entry per class of students.
  2. Individual, home-schooled students in BC or Yukon may submit a logo for consideration. There is a limit of one entry per person.
