3 Working Conditions (*Depending on the headoffice’s funding decision, working hours maybe subject to change)

(1) Working hours:
  • 40 hours per week. 9:00 to 17:00 (with a one-hour unpaid lunch break).
  • Monday to Friday (except statutory holidays. There may be times when it will be necessary to work after 5 pm, on weekends or public holidays.)
(2) Salary:
      To be determined through the hiring process.
 
4 Contract Period
- One-year contract from April 1, 2023 until March 31, 2024.
 
5 Job Requirements
  1. In possession of Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status in Canada
  2. Knowledgeable about Japan’s society, arts and culture and have a strong passion in promoting the of Japan (Experience in the area of public relations is an asset)
  3. Native-level Japanese fluency and business-level English
  4. Knowledgeable about social media and public outreach, film making as well as photography
  5. Well-acquainted with software including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  6. In good mental and physical health
