Surrey Fusion Festival (Sat. July 21 and Sun. July 22)

The Surrey Fusion Festival was held at Holland Park, Surrey over two days on July 20 and 21. A Japan Pavilion was jointly run by the Consulate General of Japan, the National Association of Japanese Canadians, the Greater Vancouver Japanese Canadian Citizens’ Association, the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre, and the Powell Street Festival on both days. The Consulate gave out free magazines about Japan, tourism brochures, as well as information about the JET Programme and academic exchanges. A large number of people visited the pavilion and the origami experience corner was very popular. Thank you so much for stopping by!
