R.A. McMath Secondary School - Odori to Koto (October 26, 2021)
2021/10/26
On Tuesday, October 26, the Consulate's staff and volunteers visited Ms. Grace Ho’s Gr. 10 Japanese class of 30 students at R. A. McMath Secondary School (SD38) for an Odori to Koto (踊りと琴) workshop as part of the 2021-2022 ‘Touch of Japan’ school outreach project.
The Odori to Koto topic introduces students to the art of Japanese dance and music via traditional Nihon Buyo dance, a Koto harp playing experience and a lively festival dance – all while dressed in Kimono (and following the latest COVID regulations)!
We hope the students had a memorable time. A big thank you to Ms. Ho and her Gr. 10 Japanese class at R.A. McMath. Arigatou!
Please contact us at programs@vc.mofa.go.jp if you’d like Touch of Japan to visit your class in the 2021-2022 school year.
