Sakura Days Japan Fair 2022
2022/4/13

Sakura Days Japan Fair 2022 was held in person for the first time in three years at VanDusen Botanical Garden on April 9 and 10.
The first day was blessed with good weather, and many people fully enjoyed the outdoor stands, exhibits and performances. Despite the inclement weather on the second day, a steady stream of people visited the exhibits, booths and performances, and a large number of children and families took part in the stamp rally activities. Over 13,000 visitors enjoyed the festival over the weekend, which is a new record in attendance in the festival’s history.
The Consulate General of Japan set up a booth on both days and gave out free magazines about Japan and tourism brochures, as well as information about the JET Programme, academic exchanges and more.
