Ms. NAKATSUKA Fumiko Receives a Congratulatory Letter and Commemorative Gift from the Prime Minister of Japan upon Her Centennial Birthday (11/02/2020)

  On November 2, Ms. NAKATSUKA Fumiko was invited to the consul general’s residence where she received a congratulatory letter and commemorative gift from the Prime Minister of Japan upon her centennial birthday. Ms. Nakatsuka was very energetic and spoke about her last visit to the residence during cherry blossom season, while occasionally telling jokes in her Kansai dialect. Consul General Hatori was very pleased to show Ms. Nakatsuka the newly completed Japanese garden at his residence, and hopes she could feel like she was back in her Japanese hometown. The Consul General hopes that Ms. Nakatsuka continues to enjoy a happy and healthy life together with her loving family.
