On November 7, Consul General Takahashi welcomed Ms. Mary Kitagawa to the Official Residence to celebrate her receiving the 2025 Autumn Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals (Order of the Rising Sun, Silver Rays). The Consul General conveyed his sincere congratulations and expressed deep gratitude for Ms. Kitagawa’s contributions to improving the social status of Japanese Canadians and promoting understanding of Japan.
