The Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver is accepting photo entries — from Canadians and people all over the world — of landscapes taken in Japan that capture and convey Japan’s unique atmosphere.

To enter just send us one of your memorable photos from Japan along with a brief description or the story behind it!

**********************************************************************************************

The COVID-19 pandemic brought big changes to all of our lives in 2020. Even now, as we continue to stay home and limit our social activities, travel between Canada and Japan is still restricted. Unfortunately at present, it appears making that dream trip to Japan will have to wait a little longer before coming true.
That’s why the Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver is hosting an Online Japan Landscapes Photo Exhibition 2021. Send us your favourite landscape photos and snapshots of recommended spots you’ve visited in Japan. By sharing the photos we receive online, we are hoping to provide you with the chance to enjoy, nostalgically reminisce, and look forward to stopping at new places when you are able to once again visit Japan in the near future.

All submissions will be screened by the Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver and selected photos will be displayed at the online Birthday Celebration for His Majesty the Emperor of Japan as well as on our website and official social media.

Please carefully read the following terms and conditions; and enter by filling out the online form below.
