2020 Kakehashi Friendship Ties Program – Japanese High School Students Visit BC

  From January 18 – 26, twelve students from Sapporo Kaisei Secondary School in Sapporo City visited Metro Vancouver and Victoria. During their stay, they toured various locations including the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre, the Legislative Assembly of BC, the Royal BC Museum & Archives, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver Japanese School and Murakami House in Steveston. The students also participated in a homestay with Moscrop Secondary students in Burnaby who are set to visit Japan on exchange in March as part of the same program.
