On Thursday, January 11, the Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver and Japan Foundation, Toronto co-hosted Japan Night in Steveston in cooperation with the Steveston Buddhist Temple. Despite the snowfall, about 70 people attended the cultural event featuring a live shamisen and taiko performances by Norinori and Komori, along with the screening of the film “Ora, Ora Be Goin’ Alone.”
