About the film: Daisuke Igarashi's award-winning fantasy adventure, which earned the Excellence Award at the Japan Media Arts Festival, is now an animated film. The production is handled by the acclaimed STUDIO4℃, known for their work on Tekkonkinkreet.

The story follows Ruka (voiced by Mana Ashida), a teenage girl struggling to fit in. Her world changes when she encounters Umi (voiced by Hiiro Ishibashi), a mysterious boy swimming among the fish in the aquarium where her father works. Ruka soon meets Umi's older brother, Sora (voiced by Seishu Uragami), and the three quickly form a unique bond. As their connection deepens, strange phenomena begin to occur, shaking the very fabric of the Earth.

This enchanting tale blends mystery, wonder, and the beauty of human connection against a backdrop of unexplainable events. (Japanese Film Database)
