Hosting a Japanese Cultural Event in Victoria (2022/11/9)

On November 9, a traditional Japanese music concert "Tohoku Minyo" and a Japanese movie screening were held as a Japanese cultural event in Victoria. About 150 people attended the event, which included a performance of traditional Japanese folk music, “Tohoku Minyo” by Rina El-Nahas and her band and a screening of the movie "Dad's Lunch Box". This event was co-sponsored by the Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver, UVic, the Victoria Nikkei Cultural Society, and the Japan Foundation.
