Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2026

On September 24, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the recipients of the Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2026. From within the jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver (British Columbia and Yukon), the following two groups will receive the Commendations.
・Vancouver Japanese Language School and Japanese Hall, in recognition of its contributions to the promotion of Japanese language education in Canada
・Vancouver Japanese Business Association of Commerce and Industry (KONWAKAI), in recognition of its contributions to the promotion of economic relations between Japan and Canada
The Foreign Minister’s Commendations are awarded to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in international fields, in order to acknowledge their contributions to the promotion of friendship between Japan and other countries and areas.
