Commendation Award of the Consul General (Ms. GOMYO Akiko, Former President of the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre)

  On October 23, a commendation award of the Consul General was conferred upon Ms. GOMYO Akiko, Former President of the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre at the Consul General’s residence.  Ms. Gomyo has greatly contributed to promotion of mutual understanding and friendly relations between Japan and Canada and the development of the Nikkei Community. At the ceremony, Consul General Hatori conveyed his respect and gratitude for her outstanding contributions over the years, and presented Ms. Gomyo with a Certificate of Commendation.
