Awarding the Foreign Minister’s Commendation (Excellent Executive Chef for Ambassador/Consul-General of Japan) to Chef Emi Takeuchi

  On September 14, Ms. Emi Takeuchi, Official Residence Chef of the Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver, received the Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation (Excellent Executive Chef for Ambassador/Consul-General of Japan) for FY 2022 at the official residence. Chef Takeuchi has contributed greatly to the diplomatic activities of the Consulate-General of Japan in Vancouver by introducing Japanese culture and promoting friendly relations between Canada and Japan through “Washoku (traditional Japanese cuisine)”. With this award, Chef Takeuchi is certified with the title of “Excellent Executive Chef for Ambassador/Consul-General of Japan.”
