Consul General Maruyama visits the Vancouver Japanese School 2022.10.29

On October 29th, Consul General Maruyama visited the Vancouver Japanese School. He joined the "Gakusyu-sankan (open school day for parents)" and had conversations with the principal and parents.

Consul General Maruyama visits Steveston 2022.10.18

On October 18, Consul General Maruyama visited Steveston, where he toured facilities related to the Japanese Canadian community, including the Steveston Buddhist Temple, the Steveston Martial Arts Centre, Murakami House, and the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site, while having discussions with the people involved.


 

Consul General Maruyama attends JWBA Annual Seminar (Hosted by Japanese Women’s Business Association) 2022.10.13

On October 13th, Consul General Maruyama attended the annual seminar hosted by Japanese Women’s Business Association (JWBA), and had great conversations with fellow participants.


 

Welcome Reception for Consul General Maruyama (Hosted by the Japanese Business Council of Vancouver) 2022.10.12

On October 12th, the Japanese Business Council of Vancouver kindly hosted a welcome reception for Consul General Maruyama who was recently assigned to Vancouver. It was his great pleasure to meet more than 120 participants from various communities. The warm hospitality and enthusiasm of everyone was greatly appreciated. Consul General Maruyama and the Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver will continue our devotion to further development of the Japanese community.
