Consul General Takahashi attends Vancouver Okinawa-ken Yuaikai New Year’s Party (2026/2/28)

On February 28, Consul General Takahashi and his wife attended the Vancouver Okinawa-ken Yuaikai New Year’s Party. The Consul General delivered New Year’s greetings and enjoyed a variety of performances, including traditional Okinawan dance, sanshin music, and taiko drumming. The program featured performances such as Kagiyade Fū, Hatoma Bushi, and Asadoya Yunta, as well as a lively performance by Vancouver Okinawa Taiko. The Consul General also had the opportunity to engage in conversations with attendees and connect with members of the Okinawan community.
