Consul General Takahashi attends 9th Annual Metro Vancouver Japan Bowl (2026/3/14)

On March 14, the Consul General attended the 9th Metro Vancouver Japan Bowl hosted by the Japan Exchange and Teaching Alumni Association of British Columbia and Yukon (JETAABC). 39 high school students were quizzed on a variety of topics such as Japanese language, history, recent events, culture, manners and customs, and pop culture. In his opening remarks, he delivered a message of encouragement to the participants. During the preliminary rounds, a kendo performance was also held, providing participants with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of Japanese culture.
