Consul General attends Fukushima anniversary event hosted by JETAABC (2026/3/11)

On March 11^th, Consul General Takahashi attended the event “Fukushima 15 Years On: Stories of Recovery and Resilience” at Langara College, hosted by the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme Alumni Association of BC and Yukon (JETAABC) and delivered the opening remarks, and also had the opportunity to engage in conversations with Langara College faculty, students, and members of the community.

The event program featured a keynote speech by a JET Programme alum, followed by a virtual tour of Futaba, Fukushima, and a Q & A.
