Commendation Award of the Consul General (JETAABC)

  On September 15, a commendation award of the Consul General was conferred upon the members of the JET Alumni Association of BC and Yukon (JETAABC) at the Consul General’s residence.  JETAABC is an association for former participants in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (JET), who have greatly contributed to the enhancement of friendly relations between Japan and Canada, while promoting appreciation for and understanding of Japan, especially among young Canadians. At the ceremony, Consul General Hatori conveyed his respect and gratitude for their outstanding contributions over the years, and presented a Certificate of Commendation to Ms. Tai Lam, president, and Mr. Greg Joughin, former president.
