Real-life Ninja Performance at 6th Annual Nikkei Matsuri

On Sunday, September 2, hereditary ninja Tomonosuke and his assistant Kotetsu came all the way from Iga City in Mie Prefecture, Japan to give a special performance at the 6th Annual Nikkei Matsuri in Burnaby. A rapt crowd of all ages watched in amazement as the two ninja showmen exhibited their formidable ninjyutsu (fighting techniques) as well as their unexpectedly savvy comedic skills and acrobatics. The show then concluded with an interactive Q & A session with audience members and was followed by a shuriken (ninja star) throwing experience for families, and commemorative photos. Ninja vanish!
