Appointment of Honorary Consul General of Japan in Victoria

On March 12th, Mr. David Alan Byng was appointed as Honorary Consul General of Japan in Victoria. Mr. Byng, who has had an extensive track record in the BC government, will work for promoting and enhancing the understanding of Japan, as well as providing support for Japanese nationals in Victoria and Vancouver Island.
