Consul General Visits Mayor of North Vancouver City

On November 16^th, Consul General Okai paid a courtesy call on Mr. Darrell Mussatto, Mayor of North Vancouver City.  The City of North Vancouver and the City of Chiba have been sister cities since 1970 with active exchanges every year. The Japanophile Mayor has visited Japan 5 times already.  The Chiba Garden, located in Waterfront Park facing the Burrard Inlet, offers a visible token of the friendship between the two cities since 1986.
