Business Meeting on Agricultural and Fisheries Products from Oita Prefecture

Eight local food industry importers took part in a business meeting on agricultural and fisheries products from Oita Prefecture which was held at the Consul General’s residence on November 15. Representatives from Oita gave a detailed description of their agricultural and fisheries merchandise which greatly sparked the participants’ interest. The showcased goods included buri, hiramasa, tuna, premium beef, dried shiitake mushrooms, sweet potatoes, pears, dekopon, and kabosu. This event is expected to facilitate Oita Prefecture as it makes inroads into the Vancouver market with its premium delicious ingredients.
