Japanese-Canadian Leadership Delegation Program 2016
2016/11/15
On November 4th, five participants from various provinces gathered in Vancouver before departing for the Japanese-Canadian Leadership Delegation Program 2016 in Japan. They had an orientation session lectures on Japanese politics, economy, culture and society, as well as a send-off dinner at Consul General Okai’s residence. This program was launched with the aim of enhancing knowledge of Japan by Japanese-Canadians so that they can serve as a bridge after their return between Japan and Japanese-Canadian communities as well as between Canada and Japan. The participants are very much looking forward to this cross cultural experience in the country of their ancestors.
