「Hiroshima Junior International Forum」 by Takeshi Nakane, Ambassador of Foreign Affairs of Japan

On August 22nd, Ambassador Takeshi Nakane, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, attended the opening ceremony of the Hiroshima Junior International Forum, held in Hiroshima. The Forum’s goal is to spread a message of peace around the world by deepening mutual understanding through discussions between middle school and high school students in Hiroshima and those from overseas. Mr. Nakane gave a lecture titled “Towards a World Free of Nuclear Weapons ～ Japan’s Diplomatic Efforts ～” and send his message to the youths.
