On July 7th, the BC Government issued a  Press Release seeking nominations for the Japanese Historic Places in the Provincial Recognition Program. Minister Naomi Yamamoto made the announcement at the Vancouver Japanese Language School and Japanese Hall. Nominations will be open until November 30th, 2016. For details please see:
