Consul General’s Cup Awarded at 43rd Annual Steveston International Invitational Tournament

The 43^rd Steveston Karate Championship which took place on March 5 drew over 400 entrants including a group of competitors from Budo University Karate Club in Japan.  Consul General Seiji Okada was on hand to present the Consul General’s Cup to this year’s winner Toshihide Uchiage.  The trophy is awarded annually to the Most Outstanding Athlete –British Columbia/Yukon.
