On February 29, a large audience learned about traditional Japanese tea ceremony at the Asian Centre at the University of British Columbia. Representatives of Omotosenke and Urasenke Urasenke Tankokai Vancouver Association made presentations providing an overview and demonstration of the Japanese way of tea.  Participants enjoyed the servings of Matcha and Wagashi (Japanese confection) that accompanied the demonstrations.
