Kakehashi Program Update

Twenty-one University of British Columbia (Okanagan and Vancouver) and University of Victoria students have been selected to travel to Tokyo, Sapporo, and Yokohama from February 13 to 20. They will act as the inaugural Kakehashi (“Japan’s Friendship Ties”) Scholars. This initiative, by Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, enables both undergraduate and graduate students to spend one week on a study program designed to promote connections between Japan and Canada.
