Nikkei Matsuri – The Heart of Nikkei

The Third Annual Nikkei Matsuri took place at the Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre on the Labour Day weekend and was enjoyed by all.  After opening remarks by Consul General Okada, the festival got underway with a mikoshi procession, many cultural performances and the always delicious Japanese delicacies from the food stalls.  To the delight of many, the Consulate was pleased to bring shamisen musician Mr. Hiroshi Yamaguchi back to the festival this year for three performances.
