Tsugaru Shamisen Concert – A Vancouver Encore

Following up on last year’s successful shamisen concert, the Consulate General of Japan was pleased to present Tsugaru Shamisen Concert—A Vancouver Encore featuring Hiroshi Yamaguchi along with guest artist Yujiro Nakajima on Friday, September 4th at the Orpheum Annex in Vancouver. The highly accomplished Yamaguchi played a solo set before the intermission and then collaborated with the locally based Nakajima for the second set—all performed to much acclaim by the audience.
