Burnaby – Kushiro 50th Anniversary Concert – featuring Japanese pianist Kentaro Kihara

On July 10th, the City of Burnaby and Japan Foundation presented a piano concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of the sister-city relationship between Burnaby and Kushiro. The Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver was among the supporters of this concert.
The concert featured Japanese jazz pianist Kentaro Kihara with guest performer Yujiro Nakajima on guitar.
The concert was well attended almost four hundred guests. This celebratory concert further enhanced city partnerships and cultural exchanges.
