Continuity & Connection – Noh & Jazz Piano Concert

On February 28^th, the Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver in partnership with TomoeArts held a concert of traditional and innovative Japanese noh performance and jazz piano featuring master noh actor Yamai Tsunao and pianist Kihara Kentaro, with an ensemble of professional noh actors and musicians, at the Vancouver Academy of Music. 
 
The concert was well attended with more than two-hundred guests.  All enjoyed the inspirational and blending of the traditional noh with the contemporary sounds of the jazz piano.
