2014 JET Programme Welcome Back Reception

Consul General Okada welcomes back the returning JET Programme participants.

On Friday, November 14th, a Welcome Back Reception was held at the Consul General’s official residence for the Japan Exchange & Teaching (JET) Programme participants, who returned to British Columbia in 2014.
 
Returning JET Programme participants shared their most memorable moments in Japan, including interactions with students and local residents in the communities where they lived and worked. Their talks highlighted their role as a bridge between Japan and Canada at the local level.
 
Members from the JET Alumni Association of BC (JETAABC) joined the reception. Representatives of Japan-related organizations and B.C. universities, as well as federal and provincial governments, were also present.
