2014 Canada-Japan Co-op Program Send-Off Reception

On May 8, a reception was held at the Consul General’s official residence to send-off 33 students to Japan. As the 2014 Canada-Japan Co-op Program participants, they will be working as interns in Japanese companies.
Established in 1991, the Canada-Japan Co-op Program has been sending selected undergraduate students from universities and colleges across Canada to companies in Japan as interns in order to provide them with career-oriented work experience. With support from Japanese businesses and Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, about 900 students have participated in the program.
