Recruitment of Local Staff for Consulate General of Japan

 The Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver is recruiting a person to be driver and administrative staff. Anyone, who is eligible, is welcome to apply by sending his/her curriculum-vitae, along with telephone and e-mail contacts, and a mailing address to the below address not later than September 17 Wednesday, 2014.

1. Position

The post is a driver / administrative staff for the Administrative Section of the Consulate.

2. Term of Employment

  1. Probation Period: 3 months.
  2. Basic Working Hours: Mon.-Fri. (5 days a week) 9a.m.through 5p.m.
  3. Salary: To be decided based on qualifications and experience.
  4. Benefits: CPP, Medical Insurance, etc.

3. Basic Requirements

Person with safe and sound driving skills, who is mature and thoughtful in nature (A clean driving record with no accidents or traffic violations may be given preference). It may be considered as an advantage if the applicant has Japanese language ability.

4. Selection Process

After the initial document screening, short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview and a driving test.
