Annual BC Japanese Speech Contest

 

The contest recognizes achievement among British Columbia and Yukon residents learning Japanese as a foreign language.

2012 Contest Details

Contest Location and Times


The contest will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Halpern Centre, Simon Fraser University (Burnaby Campus) (Map).

 

Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend the event.

 

High School Division speeches are tentatively scheduled to start at 10:00 am. University/Open Division at 1:00 pm.



Application Guide and Form

Prizes

  • All contestants presenting on March 3, 2012 will receive a participation prize.
  • Certificates and prizes will be awarded to the top three speakers in each category.
  • Special prizes may be awarded at the discretion of the Organizing Committee and judges.
