Application

Application Forms for the 2012 JET Programme: jetprogramme.ca/

 

In general, applicants must:

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree before departing for Japan
  • Be a Canadian Citizen, if applying through the Embassy of Japan in Canada
    *(For non-Canadian citizens, visit the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR) JET Programme website)
  • (For Coordinators for International Relations) Be proficient in Japanese language ability (JLPT level 2 or four years university level Japanese courses with practical experience, or equivalent)

The deadline to apply is in November with departure to Japan in summer of the following year. (Deadline: November 25, 2011 for the 2012 JET Programme)

Mid-February Interviews for Vancouver consulate candidates  
April Interview results announced  
May Participant placements announced
