British Columbian Awarded Japan's Prestigious Order of the Rising Sun

On April　29, 2012, the Government of Japan announced the recipients of its Spring Decorations. In British Columbia, Mr. Mitsuo Hayashi, Chairman of the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre is awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays for his contribution to the social welfare of the Japanese Canadian community and the Japanese.

 

A conferment ceremony will be held on June 6th, in Vancouver.
