As a courtesy of Shaw Cablesystems, all of its customers can receive TV Japan (http://www.tvjapan.net/) free of charge until March 17th.  To receive this you will need the Shaw digital box.  TV Japan can be seen on Channel 514 in the areas listed on the Shaw homepage.  For areas where this service is offered and for further information see: http://www.shaw.ca/.
