Order of the Rising Sun Awarded to Mr. Saimoto

On November 3rd, 2009, the Government of Japan announced the recipients of its Autumn 2009 Decorations. In our jurisdiction, Mr. Cy Hisao Saimoto will be awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays for his long-standing contribution to the development of the Japanese Canadian community.
A conferment ceremony for Mr. Saimoto will be held on November 11th, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tokyo.
