Tea Ceremony Lecture and Demonstration

On Wednesday, May 14th, a tea ceremony workshop was held at the Consul General’s residence for the members of the Vancouver Consular Circle.   Mr. Keith (Sozui) Snyder, resident tea instructor of the Urasenke Foundation Vancouver Branch and members of the Urasenke Tantokai Vancouver Association presented a lecture and demonstration on chanoyu, the Japanese tea ceremony.

The lecture and demonstration were followed by a short question and answer period.  The audience was invited to try Japanese green tea with traditional Japanese confectionary.
