Reception for Wakayama Youth Choir and Richmond Youth Honour Choir

On Sunday May 5, Consul General Okada hosted a reception at his official residence to welcome members of the Richmond Youth Honour Choir and Wakayama Youth Choir, which was visiting from Japan to celebrate the 40th anniversary of sister city relationships between the City of Wakayama and the City of Richmond.

After the two choir groups demonstrated their songs, they sang a few songs together, creating a beautiful harmony. Despite the language barrier, they communicated well through singing together.
