The 25th Annual British Columbia Japanese Speech Contest

 

On Saturday, March 2, 2013, the British Columbia Japanese Speech Contest Organizing Committee and the Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver presented the 25th Japanese Speech Contest at UBC Asian Centre Auditorium in Vancouver. The high school division, which consisted of three categories, beginner, intermediate and open, was held from 10 o'clock in the morning. The university-public division , which consisted of four categories, beginner, intermediate, advanced and open, was held from 1 o'clock in the afternoon. All together, there were 33 contestants(13 in the high school division and 20 in the university-public division). A variety of topics were presented by the contestants.
