Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Official Residence

 

The Consulate General of Japan and the Vancouver Heritage Foundation jointly celebrated the centennial anniversary of the building of the consul-general’s residence on June 4th.  

 

Following the completion of the Heritage House VIP Tour, 100 guests enjoyed an Evening of Japanese Culture on the back lawn of the residence with a sit-down meal, Japanese sake, and entertainment featuring local Japanese Canadian performers.

 

The theme for the evening, “Traditional and Modern” was expressed through the drink, the food, and the performances.
